This is pretty neat!

I went the one of the web sites that I saw was advertised on the side of my blog called Smilebox. I just wanted to check it out to see what was being adverstied on my blog. I saw that it does all sort of things such as invitations, postcards, and scrapbook pages. It's pretty neat. I downloaded it to my computer and then it fetches some pictures you have you on your computer and will put them into a template. All you have to do is do some journaling and it looks awesome.
I might use it some; I really like creating my own pages though. It does give great ideas on doing some layouts.
Just thought I'd let you know.

4th of July Page

I was looking through some old pictures on my computer and found another scapbook page that I've done. I did this one in 2006. I started digiscrapping right after Conner was born, but by no means am I as good as ones that I've seen on other sites such as www.scrapgirls.com or www.scrapbook-bytes.com .

I think I got these papers from Ink Stained Scrap Kits.

So, here it is: (click on it to make it larger)

Wee

I thought while I was at it, I would add another page that I did previously. The paper and frame designs on this page are from the Midsummer Swelter Page Kit by Rina Kroes from Scrapbook-bytes.com.

I make dirt look good

Okee dokee, I did another page. This time I used a freebie scrapbook page layout from Tracy's Scraps called "Tied Together". I like the way it turned out, I hope you do too! (click to make it bigger)

Where is Alabama?...A geography lesson of sorts

Mobile, Alabama to be exact.
For the longest time I thought I lived in the good old United States of AMERICA. Well, according to some people, I live in Europe and am a part of the French nation.
You see, after EADS/ Northrop-Grumman was awarded the Air Force contract to build the new tanker, there has been an out lash of criticism saying that the tanker is going to be built on foreign soil. For those of you who don't know, the tankers will be built in MOBILE, ALABAMA...and what do you know? That is a part of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA! If you don't believe me check the map below: (which was pulled from Google maps)

See, I live in the United States. We aren't even connected to foreign soil (unlike a certain crybaby company that is just a hop, skip, and a jump from CANADA.) I mean I don't even think that Mobile has even tried secede from the Union since the 1800s. So, would all the dingbats that think this tanker is going to be built on foreign soil, by foreign workers wake up? It is going to be built in MOBILE, AL by AMERICAN WORKERS. It will be creating jobs for AMERICANS.
Okay, rant over. Wait, one more thing...If you support what I'm saying please go to this website and vote that you DO support the decision for the tankers to be built in MOBILE, ALALBAMA, UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

EDIT:
For further reading about the tanker deal you can read here.

A new page

I've been wanting to do a new page, but couldn't decide what to scrap. I was going through my pictures and saw this picture of Conner with Captain Hook and knew this is what I wanted to do. I love digiscraping, but I just wish that I was better at it so I could do it more often.

Anway, here's my page:
